Quake Demos

Where are the best places to find Quake demos on the net? Are there any large archives that have been updated in the last 5 years?

The only place I know of that I really liked is Methos (look up methos quake on google), but that place hasn't been updated since 2001. I want to find out what is out there!

As an added question, do you like watching Quake demos? And if so, what type is your favorite?

I like watching highly skilled players fighting other highly skilled players. Also I watch speed runs and 100% runs on Nightmare

Going from Quake to QuakeWorld is like going from Quake to Quake 2 or something. Terrible.

Phenom, i saw the demo of you and some polarite guy on challenge-tv.. what did you ping? you looked something terrible in it.. so i figure you musta been pinging 100? 150?

i think that might have been when i was playing on a foreign server so i probably pinged about 200

Those games where played on phi1.suroot.com:26001 cheatfree server.(67.63.17.37:26001)
In proquake u see pings when someone die and in darkplaces u see ip of the server at start.
Ph3nom pinged 50-70 and Polarite 100-140 because hes from Europe.
Demo's are 1year old.

Anyway i posted those demo's there,have more demo's from all sort off players.
I will post some more on challenge later on.

I like complete demos, not some Awesome Shot Reels. I like the actual .dem or whatnot, not some avi set to bad music with your engine's overthetop effects superimposed.

Honestly MethosQuake has been my favorite place because the demos from that era are more interesting to watch cause its less about the reflex shots and juggling and more about toying with your opponent and deceiving them in the match and then exposing their assumptions.
