I just finished making all of the original ID map waypoints for Frikbot X. Except for Ziggurat Vertigo, of course
(frikbots do not understand gravity changes)
Waypoints are simply paths that the bot follows throughout the level. The Frikbots can function without waypoints, but they don't navigate the level well at all.
Frikbot X is, in my opinion, the best quake bot around. Frogbot only comes close, however, frogbots do not have any map support and making waypoints for them is no piece of cake. They can't swim in water and they don't understand lots of triggers such as buttons.
