Of course, the gameplay's the thing. If you've ever played the Enemy Territory version of Castle Wolfenstein, you know what you're in for. Splash Damage cut their teeth on the multiplayer extension of Return to Castle Wolfenstein, where two teams are run through a map with a series of opposing objectives. The gameplay flows according to the map design, occasionally stressing the role of a particular class, but always giving you something important to do.

I remember when the Quake Wars trailer got on youtube. I was excited that a new Quake game was coming out but then was disappointed when I noticed it was like Counter Strike ;o

well you can choose your side and specialties...if you are human than you have some counterstrike simularites but if you are alien you have some super war powers... more like halo i guess.

counterstrike was okay but i preferred the quake mod urban terror.

that game has been in development since like, 04 or 05 or some shit. It's hype was nice when it was announced,but, its even worse than the q10year for release,and it has multi-person coding/what have you.
