I set up a quick way to get in contact with other people who used to play on the zone to chat and play games all in one area, check it out if your interested. http://www.zoneclassic.com/
The main reason I liked MK was because of how real it looked. The fighters were taken from actual people in costumes. But now these new MK games are in 3D and have lost the feel of why I liked MK.
That being said, Scorpion > Sub-Zero. Apparently MK2 is the fan favourite but I enjoy the first.
oh, and mindz should check out MK vs SF 3. Skip straight to the fight as always. Since I take it that mindz knows more about MK than I do, was there any such fighter called "Chameleon"? To me that's just Reptile in the movie.
there is also the cost difference. i dont like to pay for software; so, not willing to install some hack chip on my PS, i generally have to buy PS games. i havent bought a computer game in years and years, and i still get every new game from bittorrent. you might say well computer hardware is more expensive than consoles; yes but buying a computer can also be justified because it is useful for other things, some of them actually "productivity"-related. you might respond that the Wii and some of the other new consoles can also do some of those things (surf the web, which in conjuction with google documents would let you word process) and some of them are also more expensive than some computers. the basic trend is that the 2 will continue to merge; i think this is fairly clear
