Why omicron is the worst Quake player ever!

Where are you guys finding all the DM 1v1's? I've been dying to dm6, dm4, dm2, e1m1 or e1m2, ....its all DM3 DM3 DM3

if you go to quake.shmack.net:26002, you'll see a lot of dm6 action.

Thanks, I was actually in there the other night...lots of fun. I remember back in the day it was really hard to find somebody as good or better than me. Now Im getting my ass handed to me by a room full of threshes

No offense to anyone, but we don't have any Threshes, we have a number of people with really good aim, and many more people who have a handful of maps down to a science. But no Threshes (flexible, a serious threat on any map and is not reliant on accuracy but rather getting in your head and out thinking you).

And before anyone gets on any Thresh bashing, it wasn't a fluke that he won the first deathmatch tournament for Doom, along with Red Annihiliation and a Quake2 tournament, those are all rather different games when it comes to deathmatch...

WS-KILLER - If you ever want to play on a "unconventional" map, like a user map or one of the single player maps (or even non dm3/6) drop by #qc on irc.anynet.org, many of us there like Quake for the variation of experiences it can offer. Just don't be perturbed if no one speaks, there are some random bouts of idling =)
