Cya after awhile!Help needed inside

I will be moving to Mississippi shortly (week after next probably) , my cable should be cut off sometime this week (probably by the 5th) , and then I'll be re-establishing myself along with my family in MS,and until that time come's I would enjoy playing CAx offline with Bots but have no clue where to start,or what kind of bots to use ,or any of that stuff. I would really enjoy getting a copy of the latest CAx mod,which I dont have,I only have a "Recent" version...

which im not sure if I even have that now :/

I've got a few days so hopefully some people will opt to help me out in what short time I have left,if not,I can always play against the
Q3 / Q3UT3 bots to keep my aim sharp! I'm going to download Q3RA/CA mod tonite as a fallback option!

Anyways, I'll be on the servers at night up until the net is shut off,which will most likely be the 3rd due to the holiday coming up. Looking forward to seeing fellow Quakers in-game ,and hope to return as swiftly as possible!

No shit Baker , we're getting a 24' moving truck (probably Budget or Penske) , we've got to unload a storage building (wife and wifes x-husband's shit) , move her xbusbands shit out of the building to either his moms or this place, then pick up all of my shit at my mom's house (mostly computer and stereo equipment,bed,dresser,and my pet turtle) , then move everything out of where we live right now. It's gonna be fun fun

I've done some research and the only Cable/DSL provider in that area to my knowledge is CableONE , and I just checked the speedtest.net results,and the best speeds from that site's history of speedtests is .40MB/s , which is a dramatic difference between my current Comcast 3.17MB/s download , but im sure they offer various packages like Comcast.

It can't be done because the mod is closed source, but even if someone tried it would suck beyond belief for Clan Arena.

Bots are half-way interesting in DM because of the map control/waypointing factor. Take away map control and add in no-self damage and you have bots with no clue on how to behave or how to act and bots don't camp.

Frogbot Clan Arena. Find it!

Yeah, Frogbots can do that. Parboil is big on Frogbot mods, it isnt CAx though... Kombat teams or something like that. KT is like CA, except only 2 teams (red/blue). But his page is mostly in Russian Most of them are for quakeworld, but if i rememebr correctly, he's got some netquake versions. http://www.parboil.quakeworld.ru/

I think all of the links in there are QW But you can try playing them in Quakeworld if you want.

There used to be a site called Frogbot's Modifications, but I can't find a working link anywhere.

Baker: you could implement the frikbots in CAx, you'd have to get a system for making them automatically go to a team though. You may have to tweak their shafting aim a bit just to make them feel more like a CA bot (its kinda erratic now - sometimes they miss completely, and sometimes they hit you dead on). You could waypoint maps and design them specifically for CA. (add in waypoints with RJ flags on them) And if you want, you could add waypoints with camping flags on them too.

The frogbots actually worked very well for ClanArena. They worked exactly like humans, and, if i remember correctly, they even used LOC files. They also RJ'ed fine and exactly like an actual player would. They wouldn't suck beyond belief because making bots for CA isnt really a hard thing. There isn't any weapons to control, the bots just roam around with their team lookign for people to kill.

Grim, well son it's like this his parents still live in this state, and he's a big enough ass hole as it is (trust me on this, he's one of the biggest ones you could ever meet), and most importantly the building is in my name, so i'd be the one who gets charged and saddly not him...


and not to mention if i wanted to be as big a dick as he is, i could really rack up on the huge amounts of Earndhart( Sr 3) collectibles, but i'm not that way, (or at least not all the time ) it just doesn't mean they will be in the same shape when he gets them back as they were when i packed them in there.... lol

I see why you're responsible for his crap. As mean as I can be, I'd be sure to find a way to make his life miserable getting his things back and not relfect judgement on you.
