    Hey!

    I've decided to get back into Quake as well. Been 5 years since i played last, possibly more. Used to do clan arena on static servers in early 2000's. Also went by Balak and Nexus.

    Which brings me to a question - is it me or is main bulk of American players are now in central and east US? Sitting here on arizona server alone waiting for someone to join for some DM for last 20 mins...

    Anyway, love how QW has evolved, and this is an awesome website. Glad to see my favorite game of all time lives on.

    Most people are mid/east US, yes. We have Europeans here too.

      If your looking for a game perhaps the busiest server is quake.shmack.net (which runs RuneQuake), but rage.quakeone.com (CA), dredd.quakeone.com(CA), GCHQ.quake1.net (NQ DM), Bigfoot.morphos-team.net (modified RQ), flanders.servegame.org:26000/1/2 (MOTD/Coop/slide) also get a fair amount of traffic. Some other fun but less busy servers are beatdown.essentrix.net (bda mod) or fear.quakeone.com (RQ+).
      You might also look at the server browser on the first page of this site or for more information check out the Quakeone server list.

        Kabal, I used to play on static in around 200 as well. Do you remember a guy named "the best". He had some of the best quotes. Anyway, if you want some CA then goto rage.quakeone.com, it almost always has a game going on.

        This site and the servers mentioned on this site are dedicated to Netquake, if you want some quakeworld love check out http://quakeworld.nu/

                Yes The Best was awesome. I remember packed servers and his grenades flying everywhere. That dude had golden one liners.
