He was flooding our DM3 server by d/c r/c over and over and flooding the above message, then he realize he ruined all of our fun so he headed over to rage to repeat.

Well, I'm not sure if closing the thread is the right thing to do. The "right" kind of attention is the attention that kills this exploit. Rook said he can do it.

Rook said he can make it so newly connected players can't speak for 10 seconds, solving this issue (because a banned player won't last 10 seconds).

How about a petition for Rook for make CAx/his custom ProQuake server engine proofed against this? He said it can be done.

Omi has done this at Rage and Dredd as well.

That's in CRMOD not CAx. He did the same thing on rage though when he was banned, though he isn't now.

I can't imagine it would be hard to modify the proqrack server for this, and dm.clanhdz.com is currently running on that.
