As for quad running from quake, Phenom (and maybe others) were successful in getting quad to leave quake for like a week. He made a thread and everything. He came back though. No one truly leaves quake

I could of course be wrong but I didn't get the impression that Quaddy ever actually left Quake. In general terms it is sometimes a wise move to give oneself a little breathing space from some of the more 'heated' threads and forums when it's not productive to remain there. But leave Quake [edit: permanently]? That's crazy talk

It's a pleasure to know I am the topic of this thread, how flattering =). I am truly, deeply and forever apologetic that my 10 year old quake handle has offended you. I should have thought back when I was 16 that choosing such an irresponsible handle may cause someone 10 years down the road some agony. If I could somehow turn back the hands of time and maybe use the name of some really awesome greek alphabet letter, you would have been spared the misery you have just endured.
