    lightning gun bug

    I know this has been brought up before, but I have been looking for this analysis of the lightning gun bug, and I thouhgt I would share it with those who haven't seen it. Brought to you from the guys over at quake done quick.

    The bug is the result of id's screwed up coding of the shaft. It is supposd to go through monsters/players indefinately, but it actually justs randomly shoots off somewhere. Gunter fixed the LG bug on FVF, it goes through one monster and damages another behind it.

      Lordhavoc has the fix if I recall correctly.

        I love when I am standing behind a wall somewhere and get randomly hit with the shaft. Usually happens around the quad ledge and the pent window area.
