Someone claimed they could not see this wall... i say they are using a hacked client, becuase there is the WALL!

He updated the map on the server, so you gotta get the new version...
I tried the map with proquake/glquake/dp/qrack etc... its just the server has another version thats all..

I don't see that map anywhere. Even google'd it and the only reference on the entire Internet of "DM_III.bsp" is this thread. Even the instructions Rampage typed up don't make sense to me. Go down to the bottom, at the top? Those are contradictory phrases.

go down to the bottom of the page. And at the top of the individual maps list. You will see it. DDM_III.bsp. He left out a D. or you can get it at this link.

I get an error when i try to load map DDM_III it boots me out of quake with this error:

Doesn't work for me either. Crashes both Qrack 2060 and Fitzquake .80. Qrack gives me no error but FQ says "Bad surface extents". Darkplaces says "Mem_Alloc: out of memory (alloc at model_shared.c:726)"

Seems like the map finds a bug in all of these quake clients because IMO they should not crash.

What makes it so boring to you? I find it as fun as almost every other popular CAX server, except Rage, where saying the "B" or "D" word can get you banned!

1 year and 6 days... Its boring because I get 16 to 17 directs everytime i play. Way to easy for me. I don't know why but it is.. I like a challenge and this server makes it less of a challenge for me to do well.

Sounds like you play better at Speaknow, cool

Have you played there when Rampage, Tical etc are there? They usually are always ontop of the scoreboards.

Its also still a new server, give it time before you judge it I say. But you can also stick with Rage, thats all up to you!

I'm just curious but whats your ping difference from Rage to Speak now Souless?

I ping 50-65 At rage
I ping 70-85 at Speaknow.

I dont go for high score really. I like to get as many directs as I can. Aim is what I go for. If I get the highest Directs then its a win for me. Trying to do other things just tires me out. Most people would notice that I play much better when I start a game and it gets worse as I progress.

I don't worry about Rampage or Tical. If there there then there there... If there not then there not... Doesnt make a difference to me.
