These are all true stories from when I was in elementary school
-----------------------------------
About 6th or 7th grade my elementary school science teacher decided to quit. So we got this guy named Mr. Smith, who was a cool guy but didn't teach very well (he ended up getting fired and we had this lady who was strict as hell [and I think was sexist too]).
Anyway, one of our projects with Mr. Smith was to write a small report about the discovery and development of one of the elements on the periodic chart.
Myself being the quake fan I was, I chose "Argon". And to this day, Argon is STILL my favorite element.
-----------------------------------
I also remember telling one of my priests about one of the clans I was in at the time. I didn't say anything about the clan's initials, but I simply said, "They're called the 'Guardians of the Heavens', so they're like God's heavenly army."
Ironically, the initials for my old clan were GotH.
He didn't really think anything of it. I'm sure he was actually ignoring me.
-----------------------------------
We had these little field trips called "retreats", which were like little religious things to help us find a better understanding of who God is and what kind of person we are supposed to be. (I went to a private elementary school)
On one of these retreats, we had a little discussion in a small group. I asked the group leader, "Is it okay to like something without liking the meaning of it?"
"What would that be?", the group leader asked.
"Well, I kinda like pentagrams. I'm not satanic or anything. You see, there's this video game I play....", were the words I said before the guy interrupted me.
"No you can't like pentagrams. That would be like Jesus driving down the road in a car that has pentagrams and 666 all over it.", he said.
