Hey all I haven't played Q1 in years but it is by far my favorite game. I used to play in the days of mplayer and heat. Anyone around from way back when? any old Pro guys still around?? also does anyone still play dm3 and dm6 or is it all new maps now?

Its great to be back i just need to figuar out the command line to run quake so i can connect to servers.

DM3 constantly played on the CAX servers. Check out the list of servers on the home page.

You might try ProQuake 3.99m.

It doesn't require a command line and is very easy to setup.

I've been playing since Fall of 1996. Don't remember any Pro guys tho. I've been a lifetime west-coaster, so i don't know the old east coast players that well.
