Poll: Is cheating essentially irradicated?

It's been nearly 2 months since those unpreventable wallhack/OpenGL wallhack cheats that can be used in any OpenGL game have been been rendered useless.

There were more than a few players that I think everyone suspected were cheaters and, well, I don't see those guys playing any more.

And good riddance. The cheaters were the ones most likely to be rude, immature and call new players "newbs".

I noticed some of these fishy "big talkers" all of a sudden were middle tier players after the change, sometimes vying for a bottom of the scoreboard position. And someone using a bot is going to have to use the LG and you can't do that without attracting attention.

Is cheating essentially gone now?

anti-wallhack doesn't stop aimbots, altered textures and player skins so you can see players more easily, and altered sounds for respawn timing.

I can still EASILY use PAK2 spiked protruding from players.mdl. nuff said.

Yeah probalby some of the cheating has if there was any. I seen odd things before that didnt include wallhacking or weird shots.

I don't have anything secret going on with this. At least not anything that hasn't been otherwise discussed.

Death Knight = expert bullshit spotter. thats why i think characters like Scoffer and IHH are complete and total morons.

even before the anti-wallhack addition, it was rare that i'd spot a cheater. most cheaters being aimbots. a few wallhacks and one or two characters somehow able to see through walls, but mostly bots. ill spot someone using an inhuman aim assistant every...month at the most.

has cheating been irradicated? no. but...why bother? sure, the methods taken by Cheatfree and Anti-Wallhack are an excellent addition to Quake...but its not really that big of a problem anyway. so there are a few inferior players out there that need a pathetic ego boost. not really that big of a deal, ya know.
