For you old timers...
I think we have stowed away some old mods that could be useful to someone, or worthwhile to share and keep copies.
I uploaded two to shubhub.
One is Orange Modules link, which is a strange one, because it combines a bunch of now well-known features into a concoction of a mod. It can be kept from overbearing, as long as not all features are enabled. There is ranking, admin, observer, holograms, hookshot, custom models for vwep, spawn shields, random item switching on respawn, ctf, four basic runes, skins, voting, and a couple alternate weapons.
Two is ZolQuake (no, not my Zopmod). link It's an old rune mod with the rjs set with an additional dozen or so, including a rune that killed everyone on the level, called the 50th Rune. This mod is probably meaningless to those that stay away from rune mods.
Two more than are not so important:
Someone by the name of Epicenter was making a "Capture the B34r" mod, which was more like a rune-mod (find small bears instead of runes) than regular ctf. I have the folder, but the progs was corrupted, so I'm left with just the sounds and models.
I have another one called xwep (XORON Weapons Patch), which is a giant collection of strange weapons (23 of them added as alternates), with some custom sounds and models. It's a qw mod, mind.
