Indestructible Quake Players

Back 3 years ago, I returned to Quake after a one year absence. I looked around and the only servers that played my type of game were free-hook servers.

Well, I wasn't a free-hook player and I was kind of afraid of getting kicked around by some other players who moved around so fast that I could barely keep track of them.

I ended up joining eSx with MindfieldzX and played numerous games at IHOC.

IHOC is an unlimited ammo server with a weakened lightning gun with free hook and your standard 4 runes. The action there in any game is fast and furious and you learn that every rocket must connect.

After about a week of that or maybe 2, I found that I could really fight well from the air and pivot and fire and otherwise be mostly impossible to hit in the air.

Here is my list of players that are almost impossible to deal with no matter what server you play on.

This means they will beat you handily at FFA, RA, CA+, CTF or any other server, whether or not it has a hook, runes or regardless of the rules.

He showed up rocket arena a lot last year and owned players who can own me. Like run the table or damn near run the table.

The first time I ran into Ghost Mutt, I thought he was a bot. And, I hoped he was a bot. After watching a while, I realized he wasn't a bot and was for real.

....and since I beat hydro... shouldn't the MONSTER be on that list...?

The only people who should be on that list is gohan, quazy and war. Everyone else is beatable, if you are real aggressive like they are. Those three guys are uncannny.

TICAL should be on that list. You don't HAVE to use hook to be successful in runequake.

Tical has mega-elite written all over him. When I played DM with him, Yellow and Polarite it was plain to see how dominate he is.

I'd like to see him get that 5th tool down pat and go into the Hall of Fame. He's a very smart and strategic player.

One team game on 26002 last year doing practice mode style DM, there were 8 players. Tia was on red and the blue team won. Both teams were packed to the brim with quality players, some from CA+ and other were Hydro and Yellow No. 5 type players.

The red team had like 38 frags. Tia had 25 of them. She's kick ass.

And Monster, sometimes I've kept up with Hydro on 26002 and it pissed me off because I knew wasn't paying attention or something. He's a nice guy.
