I watched a video on youtube that said you could get quake one for free by following some links. Well, I couldn't find the link on this site. Any help? I have a mac if it makes a difference...

No need to edit guns' post because those links don't lead to anything. This site isn't used so you can download quake illegally. There are however alternatives, such as Baker's compilation called Synq which is completely legal. Use this method if you want to play on most public quake servers without paying for the game.
