Anyways, I'm just kind of tired of being accused of cheating or being a terrible Quake player by people who I've never said a bad word about. There seems to be a few Quakers out there who are under the impression that I'm both a cheater and a shitty Quake player.

I needed help to figure out how to use the Quake Name Maker, okay? I just made a name yesterday for the first time since I played on Mplayer. Even if I had the will to cheat, I promise you I don't have the means, as I am really not good with computers and wouldn't be able to figure out how. I know how to start up Quake, set up my config, and that's about it.

I don't mind if people think I suck. I am a modest guy, never claimed to be any good anyways. But the cheating accusations and the hating bother me. So from anyone who thinks I do, I just want to know... why are you so convinced? What do you have against me? I play the game casually, I don't talk shit to anyone, I don't gloat, I barely say anything at all most times... yet there are a few people who seem to have it out for me. I'm an honest guy, you know, so it bugs me.

When I play runes-I still do, because I like to keep my hook-skills into shape, I get crap-talked *massively,* I think much-much more than you do. Those few Shmack Runebies are vicious-only if they were that ferocious at Quake as they are with words-haha!-they would give me more of challenge. They crap-talk my art too, even though they do nothing good except run their mouths in vain.

In conclusion, when you are good, you always got haters that want to bring you down. Although in case of CA, I think it is more like amiable trash-talk.

I really enjoy playing you and that is why I made this post. You are very good opponent, nice guy and this kind of stuff should not bother you because is just "words on da Internetz" lolz and all you got to do is *ignore click-click frag,* focus onto your game and laugh with your in-game pals which we are to you. Through persistent kindness you can turns most around.

i am assuming that you are u4-stranger ? and if my assumption is correct, then you do not cheat. your just a good player. as paradise said above people tend to hate towards others that are better. as in life people hate on success. so take their bitching and idiotic words as compliments, because they are purely jealous.

Yes, you guys are right of course. I don't know why I let it get to me. Some days I don't care what anyone thinks, but sometimes when I'm having a bad day or something it just gets to me. It's always been a pet peeve of mine when I'm misunderstood or someone has a wrong, negative impression.

But yeah, really, it's just internet nonsense from an online video game. I should be used to the type of people who have nothing better to do than bitch and complain.

Yes, I recently was invited to join U4 by Bib, and since I always admired U4, I decided I would accept that. But yesterday I ran into Sunshine, who was also using a U4 tag. He was harping on me for reasons I don't know. So if I'm gonna be his clanmate, I wouldn't mind knowing what he has against me.

Rocker, people always ask me who I am/was before, and honestly, I wasn't really much of anybody. Like I said earlier I played with Mplayer in the earlier days, for a clan called NEC (Necrose), another clan called ST (Can't remember what it stood for) and briefly for HPB division of Clan Mplayer during a sponsored tournament.

I moved to Netquake sometime around 2000, 2001 maybe. I was in a couple of clans, the most notable being cR (Clan Regulator) I suppose. But I was still HPB back then, like pinging no better than 150. My ping was never low enough to really get a name for myself as anything other than a good HPB, but HPB Quake began to not matter very much after the millenium.

So there you go. NEC-Black, cR-Black. aka, nobody special. But I have been around since the beginning.
