I'm kidding ya all, played from the start with the KB...all other games I do use the mouse. Always just play for fun, the old clan days are long over.

I started on gamepad and I stay on gamepad

On topic: Some kb players play at flanders.quake1.net:26003 , mostly russians.
And ofcourse Squania still frags on kb , and he does ok

I'll have to check that out Polarite, gamepad.....thats one step better than the KB I guess! I have no idea why I play Quake with only the KB as I play all other games with the mouse, I've tried but always go back....stupid shit man.

Thats the last time I heard from Barb, I thought I saw her on but it was someone else with her Tag, they were not only great players they were good people too! I miss them alot man, hows things been with you man?

Cant remember the name but a couple of years ago I played a keybplayer that was really amazing. He pushed a key 10 times every second so about 5-600apm. He made small moves every time he hit a key and it worked pretty well.

Cant remember his name but I assume it was some QW player ... and he quit playing after a day or two

Yeppers, we have had some awesome KB players over the years...maybe I'll look into getting a couple more fingers! That would make things Ez....who needs a mouse when you have fingers!

I've been playing Quake with keyboard only since about 99. I never really get to the top but if I'm having a good day, I don't do too bad. It's nice to see there are still people out there using the KB.

Well, I was used to play with keyboard in 1996, when Quake was released... but very quickly I moved to mouse control, particularly when I started to play Half Life... sudenly my skill in DM increased awesomely, and some of the player that were kicking my ass suddenly had problem to frag me... though...

Well, I have no idea why I still play with the keyboard to date....all others games I use the mouse. Friggin habit I guess, pisses mouse players off as well! Should be using the mouse but it's just not going to happen, old school and lazy!

used keyboard for maybe a year before got joystick before using mouse years after that. the mouse gives exact aim and wouldnt be caught dead without it on any pc firstpershooter.
