Mark is cool. I played many games with him - he makes some good pot shots at you sometimes but it is all consistent with his overall goofiness.

Not doubting they were pot shots when you played him. I haven't played "many" games with him, I have played him every, single, day, many games at a time, for so long now. And BA is right, he doesn't necessarily ruin games, but he does diminish the quality of them by either botting, sucking (not botting but atleast it's legit) or hiding til end of round or just spamming from rl box. I'm not suggesting ban him, just get him to knock it off. Threaten a ban, temp ban, whatever.

Lol, "dick and balls" guy as in the guy whose quake name looked like **** and balls? 8====>? that guy is definitely not the same "wizzzzar" "fok" "mom on phone" guy. The **** and balls guy is the "Shave your giant head of smell" and he's a 20 pinger these days (at speak anyway) and I'd expect him to be bot-like at times. This other guy, well there's nothing more to add to what I've previously stated.

I didn't wanna get involved in a botting conversation, so I'll just say this: Mark has played for years now, and it is inevitable (in most situations) that the player is going to get better with experience. Even if he is botting (which I'm not saying he is), he's not botting "good enough" for it to matter.

On another note, Mark IS intentionally annoying. He does it on purpose, and always has, and this does diminish the quality of the game. He's just a kid, or an adult pushing buttons because well, it's just Quake?

For all of kimp's faults and unique idiosyncrasies, I think he has actually had a positive influence on quake one. He certainly has helped the DM community to play more, and he tries to bring fresh ideas to quake (1v1 ladder, organizing TG tourney). He's now trying to organize a competition between Euro quakers and NA quakers; all these are good things, in my opinion.
