For those of you who actully own Quake.

Look at your case that holds the CD, has the inlay got the logo in the middle and the word Quake above it?

Or does it just have the logo and the 'id' logo in the bottom left hand corner (doesnt have the word Quake on it).

I have the original one and it says quake above the symbol

There are different issues. The german original has only the logo. The Mac version has the logo and a lot of nonsense (title, version, publisher logos etc.).

I have both versions. The one without the word Quake is a big box version bought in the UK and I also have just the cd case and disc that has the word quake written on it. So I have both versions you mentioned.

Just curiousity really. The one i have has just the logo and i was wandering which one is the original. I got the big box too and the manuel which is printed in black and white. Anyways like i said, i was just wandering really why some versions have the word Quake on them and some dont.
