I got a bunch of my most filthy insults from a D.C. radio show I used to listen to called The Don and Mike Show:

Trash talk used to be all the rage in online gaming, but I have noticed over the last few years that it is now widely frowned upon. Many non Quake server will kick you for swearing, an online games like WOW (not that I play) will cancel your account. I never liked the over-use of abuse in online gaming, but it may have now have gone too far the other way. Everybody needs to vent now and again.

I think one nice thing about Quake is that you can be yourself. There is a large amount of peer pressure to keep it cool, but as a general rule, most of the servers allow almost any type of talk.

It's more human that way, too.

Don and Mike...i hate those fuckers. they used to work at the former rock station here in Dallas, and they drove it in to the ground. that wonderous station is now a friggin MEXICAN station! everyone blames them. ever since they took over the morning show, the bottem fell out of the ratings, and the station died. all they did was talk about sports. what self-respecting heavy metalhead wants to hear about football??
