Out of the maps from the original Quake, what was your favorite. Mine was Azure Agony because it felt so dark and the layout was quite cool. Plus it was full of Vore

start lvl. no enemies, only 2 ways to die.

i can think of at least 6 ways to die on start..

1 ) lava
2 ) eating lavaballs
3 ) water (drown)
4 ) fall to death
5 ) blow yourself to bits (rl/gl)
6 ) suicide (kill in console)
7 ) telefrag (multi player only)
8 ) ,,,
9 ) profit!

can't do the rest tho in single player. you only start with sg, there is no place to fall high enough from, etc...

E1M6 - Door to Chthon by a mile!
Seriously- update to Rygel in Darkplaces, and you feel like you're walking through a dark fantasy horror movie!
The whole level looks- well- Chthonic!

And I can beat your guys record for dying in the starting hub level:
11- Get rocket launcher from console in SP- blow yourself up
13- Get lightning Gun from console- take a swim!
Also- if you play a mod that makes candle flames dangerous- yeah...
