I vote for a web chat (java/perl) whatever... that's real time... that will autoconnect and just lets u fill out ur nickname of choice....

Easiest way to get a game going (ctf/ra/dm/ca/coop) etc.

As lots of ppl don't use irc as it's old (lots do some don't) and even these that do, there is a lot of afk pplz (whereas) online web chat would only be active while the browsers active and everyone closes their browser when they done viewing shit....

So... yeah, (great way to russle up games/players)

I vote for a Quakeone.com web CHAT to be added to the page (even loaded) as you load the site would be cool. (know another site that does similar tho its not a game site)

Anyways... just an idea....

i'll second that lerster. while we're at it, i've always wanted to talk on servers without having to actually be there or even load the game. would be great!

imagine, wolv is getting his ass whipped in a tg at crmod and i can just say "DISTRACTING TEXT" repeatedly without even being there.

but i really do like the web chat idea except for one thing, lerster will be a-lurking when he gets drunk, scary. he seems like the gay type that doesn't understand "no" or "i'm straight dude, back off!" when he's hammered.
