  • Quakeworld server files...?

I am still trying to learn about all the new clients. From what I have gathered so far, proquake is updated netquake, while ezquake is update quakeworld?

Correct me if I am wrong, please.

I think that is how it is though.

Anyways, if that is the case, are there ezquake server files for hosting QW servers, or do you get the old, original QW server files?

Theres tonnes of netquake clients. Proquake is a fixed up netquake client yes. I think I have played on netquake servers with ezquake before—not sure.

Anyways capture the llama is now running on hub.quakeone.com:26003 (you would type "connect hub.quakeone.com:26003" in the console to connect). It's probably in a primitave state and TBH I don't know what the hell's going on... I need to go through the readmes and such. But it IS running.

I think you can still use the original qw server files but I would recommend using MVDSV instead.

I tried to connect with netquake and qw, neither work.

You may have connected at a bad time... I foq'd the connection up by enabling windows firewall, so I had to take everything down and move that computer over to the area where my non-server computer normally is and disable it again.
