OMG, last night I must of sat on a rune that turned me into the True Ninja Incarnate� I was hopping all over the place, shooting with deadly accuracy� I couldn�t believe how good I seemed and how much fun I was having. It�s those rare nights when that happens that makes playing quake worth every second.
�not to say Quake isn�t worth playing for those �average playing� moments.
Maybe you can relate� I have to admit I wasn�t dunk �per say�, but not entirely sober either� It felt as though I was in tune with the environmental variables of the game� Much like playing the piano, I felt as though my keyboard and mouse was an instrument�
When I play, I have �hot spots� I like to target where places are heavily trafficked. What seemed like a spree of flooked frags, I started to relies that all the sounds I was hearing (i.e.: opponent jumps, �oofs�, and would be RJ platforms) was giving me the sensation that I physically new where they were on the map. That, plus the algorithm style of each player was becoming clearer and clearer.
