quake exploits

so kimp, or whoever kimp is, decides to lock up the server so that players eventually lag out. is there anyway to prevent this or do we have to put up with these shenanigans. For some reason i think kimp is flooding me too when he tells me "Didnt you used to ping 30-40 Zord?"
Who comes out of nowhere to mess with a 14 year old game anyways

seriously though, if kimp ruins your games, floods the server your playing on,or just all around makes your quake1 experience anything but pleasant, GJ encouraging the town idiot to stick around longer than he was ever welcomed..... lol???
