This isn't an appropriate thread and I'm closing it.

This site doesn't exist to insult people who are banned from the forums and can't respond. That other thread was about Kimp's behavior on the servers in relation to these forums and the participants of that thread actively play Quake on the same servers as Kimp discussing their frustration.

Well, not wishing to diminish Rev's very valid point, if this thread is going to stay open perhaps it could be refocused in a more positive way to highlight the individuals who have made the greatest contributions to Quake in 2009. This is not a pissing contest but for what it's worth my top 4 awards would go to Baker, Peg, MH and Rook as they have each worked tirelessly over the last year to enhance the quake experience with either new engines, help and support via Quakeone.com or in game at certain servers.

Runners up: Pol (provision of multiple servers/orgnaising FFA Tourneys/ providing prizes/etc) , Biggy (provision of the Bigfoot/euroquake server), SoleCord (provision of Quakeone.com)

Hall of Fame: Megazoid (for Quake Terminus). Sir Henry (for his shining wit and good humour on the European servers making Quake a generally nicer place to be)
