A few things should be kept in mind though:

This pc only has 512MB ram. Hosting 4 Quake servers (heapsize 640000 each), running WCG and hosting my phone all at the same time is probably going to get cramped. We'll see how it runs, but I may need to get a 1GB kit for it sometime in the future.

i tried the travail today and the connection was a little slow, with high latency (for me) and intermittent icons.
also, i broke the map by getting the blue key (after which it disappeared) then dying might need a little bit more robust mod?

Hm, me and spooker were playing earlier today, and the server (travail) crashed, so I just rebooted the server. After I rebooted, I couldn't connect to it, so I checked it to see if the servers were running and they were. I shut them all down and strated them back up and I could connect, so I rebooted again, and sure enough I couldn't connect until I shut them down and manually started them back up.

O masters of quake, I beseech thee, wtf?

server's going down for some amount of time while I use the box to vispatch maps (id1, travail, slide)

foq, what server executable are you using for travail? It needs a high limit engine to cope with the large limit-breaking maps... (read the manual)

Yeah, I noticed the server imploded when you loaded ep2

I was using wqpro 3.5...

Server reopened. Maps are vispatched (I use the -fast flag to get it done in a matter of hours rather than days)

bah, peg said the fastvis can lag people with slower machines, so I'm gonna do the fullvis. week's downtime ahead
