As a bit of a mental exercise: if Quake (i.e. Darkplaces, Qrack...) added XBOX/Steam style achievements, what would you have?
Singleplayer
Multiplayer
I feel that the achievements should introduce the player to experience every facet of the game. I would be particularly interested in reaching hard/interesting places (via rocket jumping etc) or manipulating the enemies to do interesting things.

- Beat game on Easy or harder
- Beat game on Normal or harder
- Beat game on Hard or harder
- Beat game on Nightmare
- Nightmare 100% kills
- 100% secrets
- Various speedruns (entire game, individual levels)
- Kill a vore with the axe on Nightmare (no pent, no quad)
- Kill a shambler with the axe on Nightmare (no pent, no quad)
- Achieve a certain speed (500 units?) by bunnyhopping
- Achieve a certain height (?) by rocket jumping
- Achieve a certain height (?) by grenade jumping
- Achieve a certain height (?) by ogre grenade jumping
- Achieve a certain height (?) by vore ball jumping
- Activate the dopefish easter egg message
- Kill all the spawned enemies on last level
- Get 100 monsters to kill each other
Multiplayer
- 1,000 frags overall
- 500 frags overall
- 100 frags overall
- 50 axe kills
- 10 frags in 10 seconds
- 5 frags in 5 seconds
