Just curious, which way is north on DM3?

I prefer to think at mound facing towards the door to rl/lg is north, doorway to RA is south, YA is EAST and pent is west.

I know there is a program to tell me the true direction but thought i would ask what other thought. or im just bored.

Idea with this compass thing, wonder if if be fun if someone made a giant epic map/mod and the purpose of it is to find something, say pent, maybe using a compass. If you touch/find the pent, you win.

I have no idea why, but I always think RA is North West, Backhall is N, SNG is North East, Pent Window is East, ect...

I do not accept the premise of the question. Quake is in a diff dimension. There is no north.
