Mindzy doesn't exactly require moderation.

This site would not exist if it were not for Mindzfield, plain and simple. Not an exaggeration whatsoever.

Mindzfield was a diehard supporter of Quake with 100 Quake players in his instant messenger and was a vital force to be reckoned who got us server support and a million other things we needed back in the day.

And he has headed 3 *real* clans -- not those things where someone makes some ugly prefix and 5 player who change their name every day decide to use it for a week or 2.

This site wont even exist much longer with the way things have been going, people standing up for a guy known to ruin games, flood, cheat/bot etc. Whats the point in contributing to the site anymore, I gave up a while back, just recently played a few games, but if this is how this site is going to be run, count me out.

I might feel the same way if I were you, and you're just saying that to avoid taking responsibility for your moderator duties. I know you want things easy, but you'll end up letting people down and making it harder on yourself in the end. So the issue isn't whether you particularly like what anyone says, but how you fairly treat the forum members. Why can't you address the specific points I raised?

No one has asked you to play favorites, nor is anyone expecting such special treatment.Fortunately, im sure we can move past this and agree that the only reason I created this post was to discuss why I was under censorship, and now its apparent that I was some what at fault, subject was kimp contacting carmack about Q1, I was discussing the circumstances surrounding kimp on the forums, and not john carmack.I found it more important to discuss kimp, rather than the subject,which in all honesty, is a complete fictitious conversation. Kimp has a knack for "over exaggerating" 90% of his posts.

I've never have played favorites. I guess I lack imagination about what Mindzy posted since I never saw it.

Personally, that thread was mind dumbingly stupid enough that statistically even the most worthless post had to be an improvement of the thread content

Yah it is hah!! It isnt too hard to imagine, recall when the entire quake community I was apart of was called out to be "cheats" by some random runequake guy. I'm just as adamant about kimp & quake1 as I was then.

I fanned the flames surrounding the kimp subject, and reasserted that I still have an opinion. I was also slightly an ******* but,it comes with the being annoyed territory.I'm also human...

Like kimp last night, I have a demo but its broken (I've been tweaking my black edition cpu), and unfortunately my demo is broken.

Just because you are a moderator doesn't mean you need to talk down to the people who request things (weather you are for or against them), you need to respond in a MATURE manner. What I see you doing is stooping to the level of some other known power hungry people in the past.

If someone has an issue, address it as somebody in your position should. Don't respond like a kid - as you are. "Cry cry cry" kind of stuff isn't something any of us moderators have ever done to somebody that I can personally recall. We handle situations maturely. And weather or not I make many posts on this site anymore or not, I'm always reading it, and yes, I still moderate it. But you will never see me treat the "customer" as you are. Please re-evaluate how you talk to people, like I said, weather you agree with them or not, doesn't mean YOU are right.

If that's to hard for you to swallow then I guess it is shitty for you. If you want to come a long and take care of the everything Kimp and Mastersplinter threads then by all means feel free buddy. In the sense that you need to change the way you talk to people BECAUSE of your position, I am right, that's not a debate, that's a fact.

Simply treat others how you want to be treated. If you can't handle the position you are in, then perhaps you should willingly step down?
