Any way to perma ban this guy from entering Quake servers?

I thought this shit was over a long time ago but I was clearly mistaken.. I'm not going to get into long details regarding what he did today.. as it's pretty much rehashing what has been said here about his behavior on servers for a while.. going afk mid match multiple times, RJ'ing outside while everyone else is playing.. etc.. he is far from a dumb guy.. it's more that he's trying to ruin the experience for others.. he reminds me of 'The Comedian' from the Watchmen.. more so a reflection of what Quake has become

Yep, there is a way. Avalanche made a ban script that will block every IP kimp has from the servers. The server admins that have access to the box need to implement it in the server for it to work though.

It kept kimp off hDZ and worked untill he went crying to Ava saying he will behave and Ava unbanned him.

Yes if a few people have the password to the server ban list it works well.. a few trustworthy guys who play often. I had the password and banned him many times..
Just dont give the PW to krixtor or wolv****. they will go ape shit on eachother. haha
but it did work well.. if he joined the server its pretty obvious even with a different random name.. get his IP and about 30 seconds later hes gone.. he will change his IP.. so what i did was this..
His ip would be 174.38.29.3... So i banned that, then he would reconnect with 174.38.29.4... So i'd go ahead and ban .4 .5 .6 .7 .8 .9 .10 .11 .12 .13 .14 and so on.. only takes a minute or two.. Then he would realized i fucked him and he would connect on dialup or something, so then i would do that same with that. Then he gives up and run out of options.

you are the last person that should have a password to ban people, not only that you dont even realize what hes doing to connect to the servers. He's using Tor which is a proxy program, so you entering in those other ips, was worthless.

Actually lenny, i cant remember if thats exactly what i was doing or not.. it may have been the 2nd last digit.
What happened after i banned him is he would come back with either the next number in the squence or a number or two later.. So how is it useless when thats the next number he returned with??
How do you think i avoided bans all those times? untill they banned "74.98.*.*" which then also banned Mada and Jon as well.
I think i tried to do the same but i needed to input the last digit or else it wouldnt work.
Eventually he would get an IP that wasnt banned and go back to playing.
My method kept him off the servers longer then anyone else, so shut it lennox
Agreed i should be the last person to have that kind of power but me and Jonathan have got along for a long time and i just wanted to be rid of kimper. I NEVER abused my power.

Splinter, there is PLENTY to see here. In order to improve the quake community Kimp needs to be banned from it. How can you sucessfully play a TG when kimp goes AFK half the time? or floods people?
So this thread is important to figure out how to get rid of him for good.

Kimp has stated that he's going to quit Quake PRIVATELY through AIM so many times. He's not going to do it. He's also said that he doesn't have a sexual preference. In other words, he goes both ways. In case anyone was wondering. I think Kimp and Splint are the same person.
