Hmm weird havent seen that, though gl_textureless is going "bye bye" in the next final release. If one really wants to go thru the trouble they can make a blank texture set or wad file.
BTW Solecord sig.gamerdna.com and blatsnarf.net (jezus cristo!) I honestly changed my homepage from quakeone.com to servers.quakeone.com because I didnt want to wait 2 minutes for "connecting to blatsnarf.net" to finish loading before i can use firefox ugh!
