  • Qview help...

All I get is an error retrieving info from master server:xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx

Anyone have a new master server address?

Hell it just crashes for me, I just connect to servers at random for NQ or use DPs server browser for QW.

        DarkPlaces
It supports QW now, and has a server browser for both NQ and QW. But most NQ servers lack a 'heartbeat' to inform a master so it can be listed.

I just enter all the servers in that I want it to check, I didn't know there was another way.

          Here's my server list: http://quakeone.com/yellow/serverlist.qvw
Save it to your qview directory, then drag it onto your qview.exe. After that qview will load it automatically each time you start it up.

Well the 'other way' (heartbeats) would require all servers to update the engine to something like Darkplaces, which I don't see happening...ever
