I'm returning to Quake for CTF this Sunday, I hope we can get regular games going again on Sunday from thereon. I noticed some of you were playing again at RuM. Let's play around 10 pm EST.

Is there a CHI based server for 3wave CTF still up?

crctf.clan-rum.org has been gettin busy lately, dont know where its located though and on the server list theres a ctf.game-host.org thats chicago threewave.

besides, between RuM and HDz , im pretty sure there is no need for another ctf server.
I ping 30-40 at both of those server's.

I would if people would play. But I dont want to waste my time monitoring it for kimp and the like if no one is on it.

Also, there is always a need for a ctf server. rum and hdz are tough for east coast players.

rum is in atlanta ga on a major hub, on the east coast,and isn't run off a home connection. if your on the east coast and have shit ping at rum,thats horrible. In VA I pinged 40 easily,sometimes lower.

HDZ is pretty bad for me.. aside from the 40-50 ping it is extremely choppy, I haven't tried RuM yet but it shouldn't be bad. The good thing about central servers is that everyone is playing on equal ping so it is fair. However, sometimes east coast players play exclusively together so it's fun to all ping 20-30.

Regardless Mono, if you can't get a CHI server up by Sunday we'll just play at RuM or HDZ.
