When do you guys quake?

When is a good time to catch a good game going on? Nights? Weekends? I haven't played in a while and was just curious... thx... I'm kind of partial to ctf but any quake game is good

The best time to catch a game depends on the mod you'd like to play.

You can usually catch RuneQuakers playing at quake.shmack.net all throughout the day.

Clan arena players usually inhabit the CA servers around afternoon times usually at speaknow.quakeone.com or rage.quakeone.com.

CTF usually only happens when someone mentions CTF or an event*idea!* gets setup (probably dew to how difficult it can be for some to get ctf working).

and DM players usually throw down in the evenings.

I'm sure if you hop on any of the most played servers without any players on it and you wait a few minutes someone will join. its good to seed servers as it gives it a higher chance of being more populated throughout the day. Also posting to the quakeone.com forums is a good way to setup a time for other people to sync up on when to play.

This is just my personal perspective on the US Quake server trends and is not to accurate but its the trend I'm seeing.

I ctf when Muller tells me to, usually on sundays after all the dm inmates are escorted back to the block.

With my ping times ranging from 400 to 600, I've never played Quake online.

I Just get on every now and than check the servers and if no1 is there i will either practice at speak and wait or just get off and check back later usually i see good games at speak going around 7-8 o`clock my time

trying to get more ctf going, usually happens pretty late. 11p-1am time range thats est.
