Is it possible to add leveling system to q1

Hi, first of all I just want say that this site and everyone that are involved helping the quake community to stay alive is awesome, creds for you guys! : )

Now to the question, is it possible to add leveling system to quake? : S
(Level on the player in singleplayer so that it effects the dmg/health etc)

you should check out the COOP multiplayer servers, and Future vs Fantasy server !

Yeah, both FvF and Rquake CO-OP have a leveling system, where you gain frags to level up... the higher your level, the more weapons, ammo and armor you start with.

Here's a tutorial over at inside 3d.

Inside3D - Quake community, modding and QuakeC -

It adds experience through kills. Just a little bit of tweaking and you could have what you're looking for.
