no I played Q3dm6 then had to go, I like DMTG on other maps then DM3 where I always get rape'd. E1M2 is another good DMTG map but its based on the same game play strategy as DM3.

Some people can't leave their comfort zone..... usually because when that happens,things change drastically. Games are more even, there aren't run away games where one team is losing miserably. Some players would rather dominate at all costs,and playing DM3 garuntee's the ability to dominate....


When we played Q1Edge , it was a fn blast. I even raked in a huge amount of frags!! I hope that Dm3 is abolished from TDM gameplay. I would love it. Dm3again should replace it permanently!! Viva la Change!

Abolished? That's a little overboard. Listen.. No one is stopping you guys from getting a group of people together to play a different map in DM. It just shows me that there are only a couple people wanting to play another map. I'm open to other maps, But not at the expense of totally getting rid of DM3.

DM'ers have a lot of time invested in learning DM3 strategy. Ever hear the phrase "Jack of all trades, Master of none."?

It really is fun to become very skilled at DM3 and play with others that are also very skilled.

Playing on DM3 makes it easy for new DM'ers, like yoruself, to learn team game strategy.
It helps players learn how 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 all have their own separate strategies that are ideal.
It's a well balanced map for team games.
It's the most played CAx map which makes the transition to DM easier.

DM3 and DM in general is not about dominating. It's about competition. The server and players are most alive when the game is close and tight. There is only one person I can think of that seems to only care about domination, naustic. Everyone else really enjoys fair competitive teams. Sticking with DM3 does increase this possibility in the now as well as the future.

Clearly it works well as 12 years later the map still isn't old, at least not to the true DM'ers that appreciate good games.

Sure, more maps are fun for FFA and brief periods of boredom where variety is craved, but you just can't beat DM3 for competitive DM games.

I've advocated Dm3again replace DM3 for a long time now. Dm3 is a dead end map in 2011, just like it was in 2010,and the years prior

First off, Playing on Dm3 is easier? Are you crazy? New player vs Adept Dm3 DM player = no contest.
New DM'ers, like myself? Your arrogance is unbelievable. I don't understand the continue'd opinion that CA players are destined to be DM'rs.

When CA+ became replaced by CAx, the exact same up-in-arm's attitude occured,people bitched but in the end, change happened no matter how much the defiant DM3-DEAD ENDERS said they would boycott something.... Maybe the TDM crowd wont change,and DM3 will remain the only map played 99.9% of the time. But,thats your opinion and position. I don't see it that way, Rabbit adding shit to Q1EDGE/adding to CRMOD/DMHDZ was the best thing that has ever happened to TDM,and I don't see DM3 remaining the dominate DM map much longer.

So long as Rabbit continue's to abosrb the playerbase and the newmaps get played, you guys will just be assimilated in the end.

Tried to get a game going just now. Voted for q1edge numerous times, then it got admin forced to DM3, then they voted for DM6 and did a 1v1.
