abit more about the unreleased version of Joequake......
there was a news item with that specific video in it,and there was mention of a new Joequake with newer movie making capabilities. Nothing more ever came of the news article or information on the release of the newer version of joequake

Those demos kinda interest me in the fact that, in QuakeWorld strafe jumping etc increases speeds, while in netQuake it doesnt. That player in the demo looks to be using QW techniques, makes me think its a modified ticrate, or host_frametime is lower...

I don't think ticrate effects singleplayer. host_framerate can change physics though... but so can a high FPS.e|------------------------0---------------
