So, lemme get this straight.....this thread is about gothic getting unfair treatment on the forums and in Quake, right?

If yes, then theres not much else I can say. Gothic, you're gonna have to put up with imbeciles and bigots of the highest order all your life...YOU have to be the one to put the foot down. I will get this out now, but I have never played quake multiplayer because there doesn't ever seem to be an active server (i'm a grizzled player, I'd love to thrash about OoPpEe. But sadly, it looks like I can't till I figure out why no servers show up.), but I assume a good portion can be assholes on the fly from what people like mind and others say. But Gothic, if they talk smack, talk smack back! If they give you this so called "porcelin doll" treatment (which I find personally to be bs), then tell them to get a life! I don't wish to sound mean (I'm actually quite nice, but this thread has got me annoyed), but people complaining about common things kinda pisses me off.

Something all women will get. Those who are serious enough about gaming - will ignore it and play and will usually get some laughs out of it. The issue is what Mindz said. Someone says something - they get those punishments which if she doesn't care; why is it happening?

Because, sexcism will continue to thrive and strive for long after our deaths. This world is largely run by men, so it's harder for the women to stand up on their own. It's just, gothic kind of came of to me as an attention-grabber.

If that's what you interpited then you apparently didn't read my post. Maybe the point wasn't conveyed directly as easily as it could have been,so in my last post I gave one. If you was too tired to read then maybe you shouldn't initiate conversations, or resurrect post's that you intended to just politely *yawn* out of.

The underlined portion of your quoted post, is what I don't understand. Gothic stood up in a near 99% male dominated game (quake1) and demanded EQUAL treatment,which I fail to see how you see that as a attention grabber subject or intention.

Toxic, attention wasn't what I was going for at all(believe me),this was more for the equal treatment, I didn't want "the guys" taking it easy on me, or half ass playing because I was on there, Yes when I started playing I knew that dip-shits would try to start something, I had no control over the admins banning over what was being said. Thats why I made this thread , to be given that fair chance to improve my game without everyone thinking I was getting "special privileges" . I only attention I wanted is what earned...
