That's exactly where I was last night. The buttons to click to download the maps don't work. It just occured to me though that perhaps the website doesn't like Opera.

That also could be the problem with Quad's Quake story website.

Then try Mozzila Firefox or Internet Explorer to download them. I use Firefox.

I can't even access the forums in IE for some reason. IE locks up.

I just realised that you can mask yourself as a Mozzila user with Opera. Try doing it.

              That didn't do any good.

I dunno what it is but when I go to access a thread on the forums HERE at Quakeone my IE freezes up. Baffling.

Perhaps Spywareblaster is IDing something from Quakeone it doesn't like?

have you been to a lyrics site lately??? lol. You need to back track and think about when this starting happening. Perhaps start a new thread? Recent windows update? This shouldn't be happening.

I use Opera almost exclusively now. Can't remember any significant use of IE for some time. I tried having IE repair itself. That didn't help.

I think it may have something to do with Spywareblaster not agreeing with QuakeOne forums.

You need to allow javascript. That's about it. I built the site using IE solely for testing initially. I'm using IE7 and I made the site using IE6 and no problems occur. It has to be something with your setup.

I have that running to and no problems.. It probably is a javascript issue. I recently switched to Opera, still getting used to it. grrrrrrr.

I'm sure it's something with my IE setup. Just not sure as to what just yet.

You've probably got the new 9.x build of Opera. They're having bug issues with it. I'm still using version 8.54 because it's a great build with hardly any problems.

I knew better than to install the new 9.x build right away because there are always issues that need to be worked out with significantly new versions.

You will probably want to download every new version as you get informed of them PITA because they'll surely have bug fixes in them.

IE is working now after a fashion. I'm on it now here.

Java console and Java logging weren't enabled in the Tools -> Advanced options.
