  • Tell us about broken PlanetQuake links

A week or 2 ago, PlanetQuake switched systems or something and there are hordes of broken sites. I've heard 2nd hand that they will fix them if someone lets them know.

Among the sites that I've noticed are broken:

    Quake Name Maker
    QGallery
    Worldcraft Editor
    TexMax site
Spq2, an ancient single player review site
    Various stuff in http://www.quakeone.com/navigator

Anything else important that fails to work?

    http://www.planetquake.com/proquake becomes http://proquake.planetquake.gamespy.com/

I'll hold back on expressing my sheer joy of discovering all this. Honestly, I think I'm gonna mirror some of the stuff because I have other things to do than clean up PlanetQuake's messes.
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

Quake was our first trip into a fully 3D universe and the minds at id definately had plans for us.

The single player levels took us through a tapestry of dimensional worlds where evil setup shop and marked Earth as it's next stop. As a "Slipgate" warrior you travel through dimensions of horro blasting all in your path with weapons that have since become classic to the genre. Not happy with just offering up some of the hottest single PC gaming had ever seen, the Quake multiplayer has become the high water mark for Deathmatch action and remains much more than a mere "cult classic" even now, ten years later!

All hail Quake and the games, mods and infested new worlds it has inspired.
