And if you think that I really care, look at it like this. If you somehow succeed in "banning me from quake" despite the fact that you own and pay for none of these servers, almost never play in DM TGs with us, and sit around in obs talking shit. I will just move on. NQ is not a big deal dude. It's a waste of time, to be honest. So yeah ban me from all servers, you'll be doing me a favor and taking 1 person out of the 30 that still play.

Nope, that's not the case at all. You just need to straighten up... you're bringing this upon yourself. This isn't for my personal vendetta omi, I'm admin for a reason. I keep this community clean and the servers a fun experience for players. With your constant rage quitting ruining games, your constant complaining and whining and accusing people of cheating and talking down to players that you deem are "shit players", all needs to stop.

I'd like to get a reply in before Ramp or some other q1 admin locks this thread. (There is no reason to lock this thread, or the other thread Ramp.. we should be able to discuss openly on a forum)...

Anyway, I stopped playing DM for very similar reasons. Reasons BA backs up, not you omi.

I got tired of the immaturity on the servers.

One point len and wolv are going back and forth for 2-3 minutes just spamming binds. We were unable to warp, vote-admin, or anything because they thought it would be good to just waste everyone time while they had their fun.

Then whit decides to blow two 20 min games simply because he was upset at something I did in a prior game. I can understand being upset with me but to blow 40 minutes of gameplay where 6 other people are involved is bullshit and immature. Nobody seemed to give a shit that their time was wasted.

Then the most recent, wolv somehow gets vote-admind and kicks linq mid-match for some newb move. Linq is a newb and will make rookie mistakes get over it. Then I back up linq and call wolv out on it so he bans me mid match.

No thanks.

I've had enough of the immaturity and arrogance.

I don't have a lot of time to game. I like to get in and get out. I don't appreciate my time being wasted and I don't care to waste my time.

Nobody was bothered by whits actions and only a few people actually spoke up against wolv when he pulled that crap as well.

This leads me to believe I'm in the minority in regards to the expected level of maturity on the servers, thus, why I haven't been playing.

There is a lot of hypocrisy. Kimp tries hard to be good often but we have zero tolerance for him. When a seasoned vet kimp's the server though we turn a blind eye? No thanks.

I don't think its fair for the majority to have to adjust their style to fit mine. If they're ok with the occasional admin abuse, baby wasting a few games, seasoned vets playing as anon to imbalance teams, or a few minutes of non-stop bind spamming, so be it.

I'm glad you guys enjoy the servers and the state of the game, and I mean that sincerely. I hope more people continue to have fun playing DM.

The immaturity you speak of is approximately 15 years old in my opinion. It's just another day but I'm truly sad that both mag and Omi are leaving. In such a small community, 2 good players such as yourselves, will be missed.
