hey all, im sure you all heard that im finished with my first quake story, and im bored during the mornings(thats when i write my stories...) so i've decided to start my second story. you can read PART of my quake story over at the tu forums, but its only part of it...my second story is going to be alot shorter than my first one, and after im done with my second story, im going straight to my 3rd. baker, or sole, if you would, could you please make a section of the forums for me, so i can write my story? im planning on writing it here...

With all honesty, that's probably not going to happen as Bank doesn't even have his own QRadio section at QuakeOne. You're better off just making a thread or keep it at the TU forums. Hell you have your own forum, use that

GameFreak can post his story here. In time, I have some ideas on where these can be setup.
But you have to understand, we have a LOT of stuff going on and all of this takes time. For instance, we still don't have a community links page, I owe Bam as CAx page, I need to check out Woods CTF Texture PNG pack and that's just a few items. There is a lot going on here under the hood. Sole has rewritten much of the downloads section and we should be able to have a vastly expanded download library soon, and he wants to setup a ALL servers server browser page. Those are just some of what is going.
Things go slower than I know some ppl like, but hey we've only been around 2 1/2 months.

No offense to you but if we create a special forum for you then Candian*Sniper will want his own forum for posting his favorite recipies... and Monster will want his own forum for posting his daily diary... you get the point? We can't just create special forums for everyone. If you want to start a thread to post your story in and you want to stop others from posting in it, let me know the thread and when I check the site I can delete any posts made from anyone other than you... that way only your story will be shown in the thread.
Plus we want to keep the forums fairly compact. We don't want a list of 10,000 different forums.

I think if the story pertains to Quake.. it's not a bad idea? Unlike cough.. Cooking lol. Create a section just for stories? then just for this and that and that? No.. perhaps not. Perhaps a Quake Members/Quake related area? QuadRaptor has graced my board with his story.. I truly love it. And D'Rouen started hers there as well. Banks should stay in media.. That's what his is. But all of these random Pics/Stories etc should maybe go into the Members area? Truthfully.. if the front page doesn't post it as newest post I rarely go back to it.
Just a thought. Create a section for Members? Then decide what should be a sticky because if they are posting to it when you look at forums it comes to the top. If not.. then it falls to the bottom unless you thought it worthy of a sticky to begin with or moved it to a section appropiate? Is there a spell check on this thing??
