I have to say, i used the search forum on the site and looked for my name. I was suprised to see thay even 5 years + i was still remembered in one way or another. I will post more about a certain post i found when i get my fingers on a keyboard and off of this iphone.. Going to be worth reading i think and the person who posted has not been active since 2008. But maybe, just maybe someday they will log in and come across the post thats soon to come!! Wait for it wait for it....

I was looking up my old name NP Striker. There is a thread listing my name in such as beautiful way. The person "Crotag aka Powers Of Pain". I started quake in 1996 (full version) after playing qtest. I had a horrible connection as majority of the quaker's did. In late 96 early 97, i ran across a guy named "CROTAG" aka "POWERS OF PAIN". This guy would rape me in every hole i had during this point and time. After several month's of spending 15-20 hour's per day playing quake and upgrading my modem from a 28.8k to a 56.6k U.S. Robotics, i managed to gain some lower ping's and better game play. I used to play on a server called "The Void" and they had a CRMOD port as well in late 1997. Powers Of Pain was part of a clan called [TE] "The Eternals" and they were a really good clan for back in this time. My cousin [TE]-Rage- is the one who got me into quake test. Again after several month's of playing hours on end, i became one of the great's on these server's and i was accused of cheating and i was banned from all of the server's that this clan was affiliated with and i was forced to play eleswhere. The guy who ran these server's "TARGET" lived 35 miles west of me and had lan parties on a bi-monthly basis and i was invited to them. I refused to go because i was well hated by the entire community except 1 other person who was also accused of cheating "pump a rocket" aka "[np]-the_pump". My dad went to one of these lan's that this clan would host, usually about 40-60 people at the lans, and i refused to go. My dad called me a few hours into the lan and told me to pack up and im going regardless. Well i figured i would not take my computer but i would go and deal with the bullshit that came along with the hate. I showed up and not only to everyone's surpise that i was only 14/15 years old, and they were shocked, but i was forced to sit down on another guy's computer [TE]-Toro- and play quake. I sat down, reconfigured his game settings to my likings and proceeded to rape every single person who was there. Within 45 minutes everyone sitting in the entire room was standing behind me watching while i played my cousin [TE]-Rage- who was the only one who refused to quit because he wanted to proof i was beatable. After another 30-35 minutes playing, and 200 kills later on Dm6 against my cousin, he realized he could not kill me because i had total control of the map and he was stuck fighting with his boomstick and axe. I was ultimately unbanned from these server's and allowed back on. Until this day "Power Of Pain" obviously has not lived this down. If i was on a server and he came in, he automatically left. If he was on a server and i came in, he left. No matter what he left and held this grudge for several years, even 5+ years after i quit in 2002 according to the thread posted. This just goes to show some people (ESPECIALLY) this guy who was an adult in his 30's back in 97 act just as immature as a kid. Anyway, this is only a brief story on what happened. My name is 'STEVE" and not "DYLAN" as he stated, but i forgot his real name too, so its no big deal. anyway, that's the story line with this. Grudge grudge grudge is what he has. and as for U4-Cabalist.. LOL well, what a ride is all i can say..


(( did i mention, when i back in 1997 i was invited to the Red Annihilation Tournament in Seattle, WA? I was denied by my dad to go to this tournament due to my age, 15 or so and by myself. Either way, i was never in the competitive mode in quake. Sometimes i was but 90+% of the time i enjoyed fragging with friends and fellow clan mates. but for someone as pissed off a "POP" after all these years, he sure has matured much lol. I'd love to see him reply to this thread, would just tickle me pink. Actually i'd love to jump on a lan again and show him that i may not be as "good" as i used to be, but would love to see him RQ! Of course "RQ" was not mentioned back in the late 90's when i played hours on end. ))

I just played QuakeLive with JimWest.Xux. a former staple at the pub ctf servers like trinicom..he still used same name and clan tag hahahaha
