It's happened to me, it's happened to you... but is there a name for it?

You play something like CAx on the red team for over an hour, but then you have to go blue for rebalancing, and the next round, you're still reacting to the game as if you're still on red... e.g., you walk by a red and shoot your blue teammate a couple times.

It happens to me all the time, but its usually involving a 3rd aspect , like a verbal discussion occuring / splitting my thought process in half. Quake sort of goes on auto-pilot while I process a conversation/articulate responses.

Haha,when I was younger I would get mad as shit for ppl talking to me while I was Quaking. To a much smaller degree,I still do, but it's only noticable through facial expression,but its there

I only play as yellow for this reason.

After 15 years of being yellow my reaction time to any other cOlor is about 5 ms slower.
