  • Have you ever been schooled? (Please be honest)

You are playing DM Quake. Suddenly someone comes along and kicks your ass (big time).

In Quake and Quake II DM, some people have schooled me. I was getting my ass kicked so badly that I had to resort to camping. (I don't camp often.) But even when I camped, I still got my ass kicked.

I'm not kidding; sometimes being schooled is a part of life. You have to accept it. (Getting my ass fragged will turn me into a better person. Sometimes.)

So did you ever get schooled?

ok ill fill in ALL the blanks.. Every single last living and former living quake player has had their asses handed down to them. we were all once newbies, some developed skills faster than others, and other's just never got good period and still get their asses handed to them, This thread was made to start a discussion based on "who is going to be fucking honest". I just opened the honesty for everyone because even the best of the best NOW day's had their asses handed down to them many moons ago. So for anyone to come here to say otherwise is full of bull turds and we allllll fn know it!

i find that, quake wise, it is more fun to lose more than win, so that when you do win it is that much sweeter.

I can agree to this. Yes i like to win, but loosing is just as fun. I dislike the 5-0's that i hand out quite often. But i can't fake play someone, I just play to play, and have fun. I also believe that loosing to someone is a way to learn and gain skills. You learn from your mistakes and know what needs to be adjusted until the day you find yourself in a 5-4 situation over the person who used to be you constantly. Once you have accomplished that method you can see yourself watching the matches go 5-4, 5-3, 5-2, 5-1, eventually you reveresed the role into a FIVE-O have a mother fn nice day and GG's broseph!

The desire for a rematch after losing is triple fold the desire for a rematch when you win
