  • I Found Quake Arcade Machine 4 Sale!

I played about $6 in Quarters,,, The lady is asking $450 but I am not sure.
I REALLY enjoyed it. It was weird 'stopping' during game play to put in 25 cents.
Its really awkward standing up playing a game I played upside down,on laptop, but in a arcade gave it such a different feel. Has anyone else bought one?
The main rule is in this Arcade buying is RARITY is NOT cause for higher price.
I read it has sold for as much as $800 but I am sure during its prime..

Well- I just wanted to throw that in all your faces!
**Maybe** Ill buy it- (Very likely) and i'll make videos of me playing it!
    Yeah! I'm Mean!

Nice find and no they are not getting cheaper.20 years ago you could buy any arcade game for 150 bucks used all day long, except for pinball games, they were aging and getting pricier. They only seem to go up,the risk is arcades are a thing of the past so getting it fixed if it breaks could be a problem. If you buy it then do so as an investment and don't use it.Only 20 were even made! That one looks like a conversion though.

Checkout Spirit's details on these at http://www.quaddicted.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=38

Very interesting thing is they had already fixed the player model in 1998 to carry the weapon used fer chissake...

Too bad M.A.M.E. doesn't run it properly.

/me wonders if the Trackball Quakers got started on the arcade version of quake?

        I dont believe you...

this is just an "in your face" post. I would like to see a pic of your hand holding your cellphone with this post on it next to that machine before i say I'll give u $500 for it.
Since there were only 5 fN machines EVER made, it would be worth $1000 in ten minutes on EBAY... though, playability would be very weak. 4:3 faded CRT, 8 buttons and a trackball? oof!

besides your "forum" only has 43 posts and 132 members. Lolzville.

mindz i have the disc image. It's just windows95 with only quake installed.
it has all the original maps, and the two expansion pack, and a ctf map. plus all the vwep models.
its basically a complete 1997 package of QUAKE - including the machine.
