This is one of the most different single player maps out there.

This is more or less an Alien movie type of single player. I won't say more about it. This isn't kill the zombies. The review at Team Shambler from way back when said it had a Quake 2 feel.

Having 20 minutes of Quake 2 experience before deleting it off my hard drive, I'll have to take their word it.

[To the 1 or 2 Quake 2 fans, I would have thought Quake 2 was "ok" if it weren't labelled a Quake game. I'm not against Quake 2 as a game, but it was as much like Quake as Blood 2 was like Blood.]

Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

The Quake2 to Quake as opposed to Blood2 to Blood example doesnt quite work simply because Blood2 was an intended sequel, that kind of lost its focus and shipped with a lot of problems in the game logic itself that were never resolved.

Quake2 only fell apart on the storyline aspect really, and only somewhat - but it was not intended to be a sequel, merely they couldnt come up with a cool name for the game that wasnt already copyrighted, and it was assumed early on that of course id's next game was going to be a sequel to their blockbuster Quake, so it was already known as Quake2 early on.

Of course, id originally wasnt going to be such a franchising company, but, well, I will say more on that topic come mid July =)
